This site is currently a nature preserve in the purest sense. It is left alone except for regular monitoring and occasional small scale environmental stewardship projects. It has great value as natural land for storm water control, plant and wildlife habitat, and open space.

Recreation

It has a nice little walking trail.

The nearby neighbors pitch in and take care of this sweet little park next to Lake Oconee.
